I remember reading Robert frost's poetry at the age of 13... These lines are still etched in my memory...
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less travelled by,
and that has made all the difference
Time and again I have realised the significance of these lines... and somehow the less travelled roads have always fallen into my lap.. (i have no idea how has this happenned...consciously or unconsciously).
I have cribbed, cried and have expressed my anguish umpteen no. of times to have chosen the 'road less travelled'
When things do not work out on that less travelled road.. I curse myself for not being on the road everyone is following...
But then I do not understand that when life throws the chance of getting back to that common road, I simply can not push myself to follow that path..
All my despair and anguish gets vanished away and once again, I start counting on my blessings of having being given a chance of being on road less travelled..
I am simply happy with my 'road less travelled' ... its the road where perhaps the so called worldly success and wisdom does not come.. but it is the road where my heart and soul resides... it is the road where I feel contended :)
